I found yoga while living in Egypt! My first instructor was Robi, who also ended up being one of my trainers when I went to the teacher training. I was hesitant at first. I had a negative stigma attached to it. I was heavily involved in team sports in HS and early college. I have had numerous injuries from all of them. Most significantly concussions. I knew that yoga would help, but i was hesitant to dive in. Five minutes into my first class, I was hooked! It has been a journey, but it has helped with every aspect of my life. I lost weight, old injuries no longer bother me, my depression and anxiety (which were severe) have lessened and I have even started to see numerous changes with how my concussion issues affect my daily life. My hope and desire is to give back to others what yoga has given to me!
